Delete your
account.

You can delete your Sponte account, and the data held with it, in two ways. Both routes delete the same thing; the in-app route is immediate and needs no waiting on us.
From inside the app
- Open Sponte and go to the Settings tab.
- Tap your name at the top to open Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted.
By request, without the app
Email legal@self-iterate.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and include the email address your Sponte account uses, so we can verify it is yours. We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your profile: name, email address, date of birth, sex, height, body weight, injuries, goals, photo.
- Your training data: workouts, programs, exercises you created, session history, body weight log, body measurements and progress photos.
- Your device records and subscription state held by us.
What is not deleted
- Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer be linked to you.
- Records we are required to keep by law, or that we need to finish an open transaction or resolve a dispute.
- Health data Sponte wrote into Apple Health or Health Connect. Those records belong to your device's health store, not to us. Remove them in the Health app (iOS) or Health Connect (Android).
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it where you bought it: the App Store on iPhone, or Google Play on Android. If you delete your account with a subscription still running, you will keep being billed until you cancel it there.
